Devlog 1

Hello friends!

It's been nice to see such a good reception to Triple Tap! From what we've seen (In the numbers game) and heard (In the community on itch.io and on Discord)

Everyone who has played it has loved it! Which makes us super happy and motivated to keep us going and keep trying to expand the world of Triple Tap into a fully fledged game that you'll all be able to enjoy!

The whole purpose of this DevLog is to kind off line up our roadmap for how we want things to go with Triple Tap over the next few months, and hopefully up to release.

To start things off, we plan to switch Triple Tap over from the engine we're currently using, to our own in house engine built from the ground up, you guys should see no real difference in terms of optimization/performance. But will have support for Ray Tracing.

We also plan to bring out our own launcher to simplify updates until we get the game listed on steam, this also gives us some time to experiment with stuff ready for our bigger project COVID Royal, as we'll be looking into things like implementing small updates to add extra game modes or cosmetics quickly and easily. And make befriending people in COVID Royal more easy and streamlined.

We're also evaluating the possibility of adding multiplayer to Triple Tap, to help us test our server capacity. Right now our thoughts are this:

Adding a Co-Op mode with increased difficulty to account for 2 or more players.

Adding a survival mode where you face waves and waves of zombies.

Adding fun game modes like "Team Deathmatch" - "Free For All" and others.

We wish to look into adding all 3 modes, but we know this may not be possible.

We also wish to later down the line make a sequel to Triple Tap, with a more satirical feel and story when the main story for COVID Royal is finished.

We are actively looking for new idea's to improve Triple Tap and help us as a studio grow! So please feel free to drop any suggestions below and happy playing!
